KAPPA SIGMA RUSH INFORMATION
On behalf of the brothers of Kappa Sigma Fraternity,
we would like to congratulate you on your acceptance
to Georgia State University. Georgia State is a
fantastic university that offers many opportunities and
experiences for you to grow and learn outside of the
classroom, and joining a fraternity is a great way to
set these things into motion. Kappa Sigma is a great
way to meet new people, have fun social experiences,
and grow to be an educated man. To put it simply--
rush Kappa Sigma.
BRIEF HISTORY OF KAPPA SIGMA
The Kappa Sigma Fraternity was first founded in Bologna, Italy in 1400, and then founded
in America at the University of Virginia in 1869. We are known as the oldest social
fraternity in the world. Today, Kappa Sigma Fraternity boasts an impressive 250,000
initiated members in 216 chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
KAPPA SIGMA AT GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY
The Epsilon-Omega Chapter of Kappa Sigma is as unique as its members.
Founded at Georgia State in 1958, our chapter stands out from all other
fraternities on campus in the quality of its members as well as a composition of diverse
backgrounds. Here, a Kappa Sigma Brother is a HOPE Scholar,
an athlete, a member of a rock band, a community volunteer, a journalism
major, a Presidential Scholar, an artist, Homecoming King,
an engineer, a pre-Law major, a SGA Vice-President, a
business major, a Republican, a Democrat, a peer counselor,
a United States Marine…Anything else we
forgot to mention?
Throughout our website you will find more information
about Kappa Sigma and our chapter,
Epsilon-Omega. We also have included a schedule of our
Rush Events where you can come and meet some
of our brothers. We wish you the
best in the coming year, and look forward
